A Stroboscope is a circle of equally-placed lines set against a contrasting background - in this case, black on white. When in use, and viewed under an electric light (powered by alternating current at 60hz), the lines appear to stand still when the turntable is rotating at the correct speed.
This free stroboscope has rings for the following speeds (in RPM): 70.59, 72.00, 73.47, 75.00, 76.60, 78.26, 80.00, 81.82, and 83.72.
Right-click your mouse over the following hyperlink, and choose "Save Target As" from the menu. Save the stroboscope file to your computer, print it, cut it out, and it's ready for use.
