Busy Bee "Grand" with records - $810.00 on ebay
A wonderful example of a Busy Bee "Grand", this particular machine was in my own collection for quite some time. Very clean, and completely original save for the crank and turntable felt. I included 24 nice Busy Bee discs with the sale - this was a BARGAIN!
Columbia Tabletop - $275.00 on ebay
A nice little tabletop machine, for a nice little price. This one sounded quite good, and was very cute!
Lakeside "Gold Medal" - $300.00
This little Lakeside "Gold Medal" machine, circa 1911, was originally sold by Montgomery Ward of Chicago for $9.90. This one played very well, and put our quite a lot of sound despite it's petite size. This machine was completely original.
Edison C-19 "Chippendale" Diamond Disc Phonograph - $575.00
This mahogany C-19 was in wonderful original condition, and sounded just marvelous! We're always sad to see Diamond Disc machines go, but this one went to a good home, so we're able to sleep ok at night.
Victor VV-XI upright in mahogany - $500.00
This one was my own - in fact, it was my very first 78 player. Completely 100% original, and in excellent condition, this machine sounded as good as it looked.
Victor VV-IX in mahogany - $319.80 on ebay
A nice clean example of a VV-IX - all original, except for the turntable felt.
Victor VE 8-30 Orthophonic "Credenza" - $995.00 on ebay
The "king of phonographs"! - Victor's "Credenza" sounds amazing. What more can be said? This one was 100% original, and while it had some minor cosmetic issues (and we do mean minor!) this Credenza sounded GREAT (in fact, it sounds better than our own, but that's another story...).
More to come ...
