And now for something completely different... well, not completely. Take a good look at this machine, and see if you can spot what's so different about it. I'll give you a hint: look for the horn opening.
Yup - that's the horn there at the bottom of the machine!
This beautiful phonograph is in excellent condition, and is a real eye-catcher. That's the original turntable felt you see. The finish on the cabinet is original as well - we have carefully cleaned every inch of it.
Look at that beautiful decal under the lid! The machine pictured in the decal is a Puritan Bombe machine - note the horn opening at the base of the machine.
No more bending down to reach those records - the door simply flips down, and those records are within your reach.
The reproducer has been rebuilt and meticulously tuned, and sounds marvelous. The picture on the right shows the "push-pull" type tone-control to adjust the volume.
The Puritan is a wonderful machine, and is 100% original with the exception of the tone arm and reproducer, which are accurate replacements. The motor has been completely cleaned and lubed - it runs smooth and strong, easily playing through several records on a complete winding.
